Introduction to the CII

This practical session is designed to help participants understand the CII qualification journey and feel confident about getting started.

The session will explain how CII qualifications are structured, including compulsory and optional modules, credit requirements and the different routes available. Participants will explore how to select modules that best suit their role, experience and career ambitions, and will be introduced to tools and calculators that can help them plan their qualification pathway and understand their credit allocation.

We will also walk through the practicalities of getting started, including enrolment, booking exams and accessing study materials, before sharing practical tips on planning study, approaching exams and making the CII journey manageable.

By the end of the session, participants should have a clearer understanding of their options and the practical next steps they need to begin or progress their CII qualifications.

This session will run 13:00 – 14:00.

This session will be delivered delivered in-person at our Empower Development Training Room.
